Historic Buildings

Living in New England puts one in touch with history nearly every day. For those paying attention, this can be both thrilling and disturbing. Appreciating structures from the past includes understanding their fragility in terms of time and human behavior. The elements will have their way and society will either support their survival or be indifferent to it.

A collection of images referring to this follows, celebrating their continuing existence and recording their current situation in time.
